We are a small, multicultural, faith-based community located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our students, from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, are encouraged, challenged and guided throughout to develop strong characters, to be curious learners, and to recognize their unique gifts so they may become the people God meant them to be.

Walking with the Saints
At the heart of our school’s spiritual life is our Annual Patron Saint Tradition. Each year, our community invites a heavenly intercessor to walk alongside us, serving as a spiritual North Star for our students, faculty, and families. This isn't just a name on a plaque; we immerse ourselves in their story during Religious Education, striving to bridge the gap between their holy lives and our modern journey.
By studying their virtues, we don't just learn about them, we learn to live like them.
This year has been exceptionally profound as we were able to celebrate the Canonization of our annual Saint, St. Carlo Acutis. As the first millennial saint, Carlo has brought a vibrant, modern energy to our hallways. His life reminds us that holiness doesn't require a different century; it only requires a willing heart and a love for the Eucharist.
"We are all born as originals, but many die as photocopies." — St. Carlo Acutis
Inspired by his wisdom and his digital-age devotion, we have distilled his mission into our school motto for the year:
"Be Original. Be Holy."
In a world that often pressures us to conform, St. Carlo challenges our students to embrace their unique, God-given identity. To be an "original" is to be exactly who God created you to be and in that authenticity, we find the path to true sanctity.
The spirit of this tradition continues to grow! During our recent Catholic Schools Week celebrations, our student body came together in prayer and discernment to select our patron for the upcoming school year.
We are overjoyed to announce that we will be journeying with St. Bernadette of Lourdes for the next academic year. As we look toward the future, we prepare to learn from her profound humility, her simple yet radical faith, and her unwavering trust in the Blessed Mother.
Join us this year as we follow in Carlo’s footsteps, and prepare our hearts to walk with Bernadette, ensuring we always remain the "originals" God intended.
