School Cancelations & Delays

Snow/Weather Emergency

Adverse weather conditions or other emergencies may require that school be closed, delayed or release students early. If a schedule change is deemed necessary, parents/guardians will receive an ALERTNOW phone notification call or text. Announcements will also be made on WLOS, Instagram, and on our website. There will be a separate announcement for Asheville Catholic School. Asheville Catholic School does not automatically follow any other school system. At all times, please remember that we expect you, as the parent, to make the final decision as to whether you feel it is safe for your child to go to school.
